GoAhead names new CEO

GoAhead Software has tapped John Hansen as its new CEO, a board member for the past two years who will replace outgoing CEO Jim Ewel.

Hansen previously served as CEO of Vallent Corp., which was acquired by IBM in 2007. He also founded Metapath and served as the Secretary of Technology for the State of Colorado.

“I can think of no better person to take the lead at GoAhead than John Hansen,” said Ewel said in a statement. “His desire for greatness and his well-suited expertise are the perfect combination to take GoAhead to the next level.”

GoAhead, with about 45 employees and more than 50,000 commercial deployments, provides software to help businesses in the aerospace, defense and telecom industries make sure their applications are available and operating properly.
