Concur makes a buy in Europe

In a move that will double its European operations, Redmond-based Concur Technologies today announced the acquisition of Paris-base Etap-On-Line. Both companies provide online travel and entertainment expense management technologies.

Financial terms were not disclosed in a press release, though Concur plans to discuss the deal in a conference call Aug. 5 at 2 p.m.

“Concur’s continued global growth is fueled by market demand for services that help our clients drive costs out of their businesses,” said Concur CEO Steve Singh in a statement. “This acquisition is one more step in Concur’s ongoing commitment to providing both global and local leadership to the travel and expense industry.

UPDATE: Concur said that Etap-On-Line employs more than 50 people, but it did not disclose revenue figures for the company.
